Meet Jamie

Petross Events is led by me—Jamie Petross, a design-forward planner rooted in the Pacific Northwest. I draw inspiration from natural textures, warm light, and thoughtful design to create gatherings that feel refined, personal, and intentional.

Event planning has been part of my life for years. I began early on, organizing fundraisers, school dances, leadership events, and celebrations—drawn to the challenge of coordinating details and bringing people together. That interest led me to study marketing with the goal of building a career in events.

After college, I spent five years working as a florist, gaining hands-on experience across weddings and large-scale celebrations and learning how design, timing, and logistics intersect behind the scenes. From there, I transitioned into creative project management, where I spent years leading complex projects, managing timelines, and coordinating teams to ensure nothing fell through the cracks.

That background shapes how I plan events today. Over the years, I’ve planned weddings, themed parties, holiday gatherings, and private celebrations for friends, family, and clients—bringing together creative ideas and structured execution.

Through Petross Events, I offer collaborative, organized support designed to make the planning process feel clear and manageable. My goal is simple: to manage the details so you can be present and enjoy the experience.
